Cookie Policy
A plain-English look at the handful of cookies Deecliq actually uses.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. The Short Version
We keep this simple on purpose: Deecliq uses cookies and browser storage only to make the site work properly for you — keeping you logged in, remembering your theme, and protecting your session. We don't run ads, and we don't use any third-party tracking or analytics cookies. If a cookie isn't helping you use the site, we don't set it.
2. What's a Cookie, Really?
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so the site can remember something about you between visits — like staying logged in instead of re-entering your password on every page. Some of what we use technically lives in "local storage" rather than a classic cookie, but it serves the same purpose, so we cover both here together.
3. Cookies We Actually Use
- Session / login cookie — keeps you signed in as you move between pages, so you're not asked to log in over and over.
- CSRF protection token — a security cookie that helps confirm a form submission really came from you, not from another site trying to act on your behalf.
- Theme preference — remembers whether you've chosen light, dark, or one of the accent themes (Neon, Violet, Cyber, Sunshine, Aurora), so you don't have to reselect it every visit.
- Voice-reply preference — remembers whether you've turned on the chat assistant's "read replies out loud" option.
That's the complete list. None of these are used to build an advertising profile, track you across other websites, or sell to anyone — they exist purely to make the site function the way you'd expect.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We don't embed third-party ad networks or analytics trackers on Deecliq. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first, and the new cookie will be listed here by name.
5. Managing or Clearing Cookies
Your browser lets you view, delete, or block cookies at any time through its settings. Since our cookies are essential to things like staying logged in, clearing them will simply log you out and reset your theme back to default — nothing breaks, you'll just need to log in and pick your theme again.
6. Changes to This Policy
If what we store ever changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and revise this page so it always reflects exactly what's actually running.
